About Levi
What can I say? I love shooting people – with my camera of course
To be quite honest, I do what I do because I feel like it can help further the careers of other people. Headshots are a very specialized field and it takes a lot of experience in the business to understand what a great headshot needs to be. I started performing when I was nine and professionally when I was thirteen. For fifteen years I toured all over the world as a singer/dancer performing in 12 countries and in New York City. Almost 10 years ago, I moved to Los Angeles and worked in many different aspects of the industry. I believe that making a great investment in my career with headshots was a vital tool to all of my success.
Since I began shooting professionally, I’ve found that most of my actual experience lies in helping people with their careers. From picking the right wardrobe, getting the right amount of looks, picking out photos, working with agents and casting directors to get exactly what they want, my hands on approach to a career is much more than just a headshot factory, it’s a long term commitment to aiding the performer thru many steps to get to the next level on their path.
My portfolio consists of many celebs and actors seen in TV and movies today including Daveigh Chase (Big Love), Ashton Holmes (Peaceful Warrior, The Pacific), and Affion Crockett (Wild-n-out, Soul Men, Dance Flick). I’ve also shot many well known dancers and choreographers such as Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo (So You Think…) Pasha Kovalev and Anya Garnis (So You Think…), Dave Scott (You Got Served, B2K, Tyrese to Ginuwine and Brian McKnight), Tony Testa (Michael Jackson), The Beatfreaks and Groovaloos members: Keeley Kaukimoce (Legally Blonde, You Got Served, Janet Jackson, Run DMC, Christina Aguillera, Backstreet Boys)Teresa Espinosa (Britney, Miley, Pink), Lindsey Blaufarb (Pink, Avril), Kherington Payne, Lauren Froderman, and many more.
My advertising and event work has taken me all over the country and has been published in Architectural Digest, People, OK Magazine, US Weekly, In Touch, Dance Spirit Magazine, Hair Salon Today, Entertainment Weekly, Essence and many more. I’ve shot many celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Quincy Jones, Jennifer Hudson, Dennis Quaid, Woody Harrelson, Michael Buble, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Kara Dioguardi, Ryan Seacrest, Jennifer Lopez, Kathy Griffin,
At the end of the day – none of this really matters. It just seems to impress people here in LA. As I move forward, you’ll see me at NoHoPAC a new performing arts facility in heart of the NoHo Arts District where I serve as the Artistic Director creating events and hosting many dance events. We have a 1000sq ft dance studio and a 2500 sq ft performance space with a stage, lights, sound and seating for 150 people.
My newest project is FUZIONTALKS. A new monthly event where I interview Industry Pros with the objective of education, inspiring and motivating dancers in their careers.
